Situation
Mobile Carrier not listed for SMS setup
SMTP-SMS not available from mobile provider
Don't know e-mail address of mobile device
Not able to cradle sync

Resolution
There is an alternate way to install the GMS client on devices when
neither the SMS nor the cradle sync options will work.
Using the browser on the device browse to your GMS server URL /install for example:
http://gms.mycompany.com/install
The device type should automatically be detected and the client downloaded and installed. This method requires that an account already exists on the GMS server so either create one in the Admin Console or make users set themselves up in the WebPIM (http://gms.mycompany.com)
