Situation

Database corruption causing memory error
Error: "Cache memory allocator out of available memory"
Error appears on the server console screen
Error: "Memory error. Memory function failure (8101)"
Error appears on the POA screen
POA returns error on a database
MONITOR.NLM | Available Cache Buffers is greater than 60% of Total Cache Buffers

Resolution

The 8101 error could be unrelated to memory issues and could be caused by bad data in GroupWise. To resolve the error, rebuild the Post Office database and then perform Library Maintenance by running an Analyze/Fix Structure first and then Content.
