Possible Workarounds:

  • Remove the ZenWorks Management Agent will make this NetStorage function to work properly again;
  • Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7 is not affected by this issue.

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
  • Setup a NetWare 6.5 SP4 server with NetStorage 2.6.0 installed;
  • Setup a Windows XP SP2 workstation with the ZenWorks Desktop Management Agent 6.5 SP2 or 7.0 installed;
  • Open Internet Explorer and login to NetStorage;
  • Choose a file from a mapped drive (Home@... is fine) and select"File - Download for Editing..." or "File - Download and Lock...";
  • Save it and make your modifications;
  • When you are done, browse for the updated copy of the file form the "editing File window" still open and click "Finished";
  • You will get the following error:

Access Forbidden !

You don't have permission to access the requested object. It si either read-protected or not readable by the server.
