After renaming, workstations sometimes do not reconnect

Environment

Novell ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management - ZDM6.5 Automatic Workstation Import
Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management - ZDM7 Automatic Workstation Import

Situation

Intermittently, if a workstation is renamed via ConsoleOne, if it's rebooted immediately after, it may not be able to successfully authenticate
Logs show -669 error

Resolution

For ZDM7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, available at https://download.novell.com

Additional Information

The problem occurs because the Import Service (called by the workstation to locate the new name of its Workstation Object) is reading a different replace to the one updated by ConsoleOne, and replication has not completed. With this fix, the import service will wait for replication to complete if it cannot locate the workstation information.
