Situation

User wants to be able to mask the responses to Challenge Questions

Resolution

Introduced in Challenge Response Client 2.7.6 FTF, the following registry setting can be made to mask the responses to Challenge Questions when you have clicked on the "Did you forget your Password?" link on the Novell Client and are prompted to answer your Challenge Questions.

To enable the mask functionality, the following setting should be created in the Windows registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\NMAS\MethodData\challenge_response]
