iManager 2.7 is not accessible

Novell iManager 2.7


Situation

- Confirmed that Tomcat 5 is running. Try to restart it. To stop and start tomcat run /etc/init.d/novell-tomcat5 (start | stop | restart) on SLES or run /etc/init.d/tomcat5 (start | stop | restart) on OES 2.

- Looked in the /var/opt/novell/tomcat5/logs directory for an indication as to what may be wrong

-Checked to see if port 8080 and 8443 are accessible.

-Made sure ports are open on the firewall (SLES 10 will have the firewall turned on by default, allow port 8443 to be open and port 8080 to test Tomcat).

If the following error is found in the /var/opt/novell/tomcat5/logs/catalina.out file, follow the steps below to resolve it:

LifecycleException: Protocol handler start failed: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /root/.keystore (No such file or directory)
