Ensure that a-ZIS object exists in the server's container after the install is complete (if this object does not exist, the-ZIS object can be created manually by following the steps below). Also ensure that at the ZIS object is shown as a Trustee of the [Root] object. The default assigned rights when adding a Trustee is all the rights necessary for this ZIS object.
After installing ZENworks Desktop Management, grant the Grant the -ZIS Objects located in the server's container the following rights to the [Root] object ...
[All Attribute Rights]=Compare, Read
[Entry Rights]=Browse

  4. Grant the-ZIS Objects located in the server's container the following rights to the [Root] object ...

[All Attribute Rights]=Compare, Read

[Entry Rights]=Browse
  1. Go to the "Other” tab of the -ZIS object.

  3. Choose ZENworks Utilities > Set Identity

Point the sever to the-ZIS object:

  1. Go to the "Other” tab of the server object.
  2. Click on "Add” to add a zenimgImagingService attribute if it isn’t already there.
  3. Browse to the-ZIS and click OK.

Additional Information

Usually when this error is present in the installation log, the ZIS object did get created, but didn't receive the Trustee Assignment that it was supposed to get. The install is supposed to create a-ZIS object in the servers container, and then it is supposed to grant that object a Trustee Assignment at [Root]. Sometimes during an install, the object is created on one replica, but the install is talking to another replica when trying to make the Trustee Assignment. If the second engaged replica has not received the sync'd ZIS object, this trustee assignment will fail and the installation log will claim the object was never created.
