How to configure domain to route all outgoing INTERNET mail to specific GWIA?
INTERNET Addressing Override is Greyed out and cannot set the preferred GWIA

Resolution

This solution assumes you already have multiple GWIAs installed and INTERNET Addressing is turned on and both are working correctly.
Setting INTERNET Addressing OverRide
1.Start ConsoleOne
2. Right click the domain the domain you need to over ride to send mail out a specific GWIA
3. Choose Properties of the domain object
4. Click on GroupWise tab drop down arrow
5. Choose INTERNET Addressing
6. Check the Override box for "INTERNET Agent for outbound SMTP/MIME messages:"
Follow same routine for the next domain that needs to route outgoing INTERNET mail Through a specific GWIA.

Additional Information

This cannot be configured at the post office or user level.
If the check box for Override is greyed out the system may has a preferred routing domain set. This setting means that all mail leaving all domains will get to the other domains in the system by going through the default routing domain. This is much like a hub and spoke type of set up. This set up was used in the past to accommodate for slow WAN links and can ofter be reconfigured by removing the default routing domain.
To remove a default routing domain you will need to:
1. Start ConsoleOne
2. Highlight the word GroupWise system on the left
3. Go Tools
4. Choose System Preferences
5. Select the Tab for Default Routing Domain and remove the listed domain.
