Situation
When exporting reports from the ZENworks Asset Manager Web Console to Excel spreadsheet format, if a large number of records are selected, the system returns the following error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Resolution
Increase the amount of memory available to the Tomcat application. If using Tomcat 5 or higher, change the maximum memory available to Tomcat in the following location: C:\Tomcat5\bin\Tomcat5w.exe, Java tab, set the "Maximum Memory Pool" value, 1024 MB is therecommended value for most installations.
