Collection server status within the Process Control panel is Unavailable although the collection server is throwing no errors within it's collection server core log file and is continuing to scan and load successfully.


The Manager's Process Control Panel status field is updated based on the check-in time of the server. The Collection and Task servers along with the ZAM managers check in to the database at a set interval. When they do so they update the date/time in the NC_HostInfo table. The Managers will decide availability based on this field, if it hasn't been updated recently enough the Manager program will set the status to unavailable in the database. It will do this even though the Collection Server is working properly albeit on a slow WAN link.
