Unable to access NDPS Health Monitor after inplace upgrade to NetWare 6.5

NPDS is running on a cluster.

Situation

Symptoms:
  • NDPS Health Monitor page (https://server:8009/PsmStatus) is not available/not found
  • On the Cluster Resource Screen you will see the following when loading the NDPS resoruce: ERROR 10048 binding to port 80 on address x.x.x.x
Change:
  • There has been an inplace upgrade from NetWare 6.0 to NetWare 6.5 (SP5)

Resolution

As NetWare has reached end of support, this issue will be not resolved.

Additional Information

Found the following work-around:
  • add the following to the load script after the line ADD SECONDARY IPADDRESS x.x.x.x:

httpunbindx.x.x.x:8009

httpunbindx.x.x.x:8008

httpunbindx.x.x.x:80


  • change the line with HTTPBIND:
httpbindx.x.x.x:8009 /SSL /KEYFILE:"SSL CertificateDNS"
  • unload and load the resource. In the Cluster Resource Screen you could see the following error: ERROR 255 closing x.x.x.x:y. You can ignore these errors.
