Situation
ERROR: -1656 processLMO: Module Method ID conflict ID:0x22 Name:
Windows Native File Access
ERROR: -1662 processloginSequence: Invalid sequence Windows Native File Access
ERROR: -1662 processloginSequence: Invalid sequence Windows Native File Access
Resolution
Error -1656 indicates either that the NMAS Server failed to
validate the signature of a method, or the module size encoded in
the signed portion of the method is larger than the code read from
eDirectory.
Updating the NMAS method to the latest version (or current/same version) should resolve the issue.
To Update the NMAS method through the ConsoleOne, do the following:
1. Launch ConsoleOne.
2. Browse to the problem NMAS method (in this case it isWindows Native File Access Method)
in the CN=Authorized Login Methods.CN=Security container and open the properties of the problem NMAS method.
3. Select the update method button and then browse to the latest updated NMAS method files, pointing to the config.txt for that method.
4. Once the update has finished, from the NetWare console, type"nmas refreshpolicy"
