Every word is underlined in red even when all words are spelled correctly.

Environment

Novell GroupWise 7.01
Novell GroupWise 32 bit Client

Situation

Error: "There is an error in the Spell Checker's Windows Registry Information."
Symptom: When you begin to create a new message every word in the subject and body of the message is underlined in red.

Resolution

Go to the location of the client installer. Copy the file WT61US.UWL" to the root of the C: drive on the PC.

Run regedt32

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\User Word List\6.1\US\US Word List 0

Usually you will only see:
(Default) REG_SZ (value not set)

Add the following 2 keys:

Enabled REG_BINARY 01 00 00 00 (binary value)
Name REG_SZ C:\\WT61US.UWL (string value)

NOTE: That is a ONE and not a letter "L" after the "6" in the filename.

Restart the GroupWise client and create a new message. The red underlining will not be there.
