Situation
Symptoms
lsa_pool_statfs: zOpen = 20801pollutes /var/log/messages with multiple entries.
When using Novell Remote Manager the messagelsa_pool_statfs: zOpen = 20801is added to /var/log/messages

Cause
When running Novell Remote Manager a check is done for the amount of free disk space for each nss mount point specifically the nss volume is checked. If a pool is in a de-active state then the volume cannot be checked for its free disk space and the error :lsa_pool_statfs: zOpen = 20801 is reported in /var/log/messagesfor that volume , depending on how many de-active pools there are at the time of the check determines the amount errors will be reported at that time . For example:
This error is more likely to occur on OES 2 Servers running clustering because some pools will be de-active on all nodes but the node the resources owning that pool is active on.
