Collection Server keeps crashing

Situation

Large gaps in collection server core event log where collection server has gone down and been restarted and *.dmp files created due to collection server crashing.

Resolution

 This can be a problem if the Threads for the Collection Server are set above 1.  Follow the steps below to set the Threads to 1 for the Collection Server.


1) In the ZAM Manager, go to the Process Control Panel at the bottom, to the Collection Server tab.
2) Right click on the Collection Server having problems, and choose Edit Collection Server.
3) Go to the Advanced Tab and set the Client Connection Threads and Updater Threads to 1.
4) Click OK.
