Situation

NetWare Server running CIFS acts as Master Browser

Resolution

The CIFS server will become the master browser if there is no other Winnt, 2000, or XP workstation up. If this happens, make sure there is another workstation or server up on the network that can act as the master browser, and then do a CIFSSTOP and CIFSSTRT.


Additional Information

There is no election to disable CIFS server as the Master Browser.
