Novell iPrint for NetWare Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 6

Situation

After applying Support Pack 6 for NetWare 6.5, some servers will ABEND. Look for the following in the ABEND.LOG:

The violation occurred while processing the following instruction: MOVZX

The CPU encountered a problem executing code in LIBC.NLM. The problem may be in that module or in data passed to that module by a process owned by NDPSGW.NLM.

Resolution

Apply NDPSGW.NLM dated 16NOV2006 or later. Search Novell's File Finder for this file.
