Remote Control windows launched from Terminal Server are all in same session

Environment

Microsoft Windows 2000 Terminal Server
Microsoft Windows 2003 Terminal Server
Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 - ZDM7 SP1 Remote Management

Situation

If two administrators start terminal server sessions on the same Terminal Server, and each launches Remote Control from those sessions, the window for the second Remote Control will appear on the first administrator's Terminal Server session alongside their own.

Resolution

To obtain a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

The problem occurs because the two sessions share the same instance of Java on the Terminal Server: the fix is to launch a separate instance for each session.
