Situation

Workstation DN is not being updated to the new context the workstation object is being moved to.
Unable to move workstation objects to new container.
Workstation unable to locate new context in eDirectory.
ZENWSREG.LOG shows:
ERROR: -- Login event -- Search failed. Error: Object not found
-- Login event -- Search failed. Error: 1

Resolution

Rights needed for Original container:
  • Write rights to the WM:WORKSTATIONPATH attribute
Rights needed for Target container:
  • Read, File Scan, Create rights to all attributes and entry rights in the target contain.
