agent always installs to c:\program files
- The 6.3.2.858 ZPM agent is installed to the directory c:\program files\patchlink. For non-English platforms, this may not be correct (for example on a Swedish platform it should be c:\program\patchlink, for German c:\programme\patchlink).When the computer is restarted, a windows explorer window loads, showing c:\program.
- On a computer where windows is installed on any drive other than C:, the agent still attempts to install on C:, which may or may not succeed
Resolution
Although the
6.3.2 agent has not been changed, this does work with version 6.4.
It is recommended that customers expereincing this issue upgrade to
6.4 - seeTID

Additional Information
When PDDM is
inserted into the registry
(HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run) there
are no quotes around the name of the program (c:\program files\patchlink\update agent\pddm.exe) which results in a windows explorer window starting, looking in c:\program. Because the registry entry is misinterpreted, PDDM does not run.
