Workstation Import fails when User Container is part of Workstation Name

Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management on Linux Support Pack 1 - ZDML7 SP1 Automatic Workstation Import

Situation

If importing workstations on a Linux server, if the Import Policy has been defined to include the User's Container as part of the name, the import fails.
The log file will show something similar to this:
Jan 10, 2007 6:28:27 PM javax.naming.InvalidNameException: Invalid name:
cn=TEST,POL,ZFD7,SERVICES,DSI--CLUSTER00--testpolicy,ou=WIndowsXP, ou=WKS,ou=ZFD7,ou=SERVICES,o=DSI;
remaining name'cn=TEST,POL,ZFD7,SERVICES,DSI--CLUSTER00--testpolicy'

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, available at https://download.novell.com

Additional Information

This issue does not apply if importing on a NetWare or Windows server.
