Situation
When authenticating, the log is showing an error message.
Resolution
Error codes in NMAS Radius are typically based on other
functionality. In this document, we will use an example of
the error code 1460. The century of the error number usually
indicates which libraries are causing problems. Back to the
example, the -1460 error code has a century prefix of 14, which
indicates the NMAS subsystem.
A simple search in NMAS for 1460 reveals that the issue is NICI (or an associated NICI object) is either not installed on the server, or is failing to load. In this example, correcting the NICIerrors will alleviate the -1460 error code revealed by the NMAS Radius service.
