Page cannot be displayed thru proxy in Novell BorderManager 3.8

Novell BorderManager 3.8 Support Pack 5 Beta

Situation

Accessing the sitewww.environment-agency.gov.uk, you either get page cannot be
displayed after a period of about 2 minutes of trying to load or sometimes
the page will load but very slowly with no graphics and the page not
rendered correctly.
Firefox 1.5, I.E 6 and I.E 7 are showing this error but Firefox 2.0 is working fine.
Accessing the site bypassing proxy works.

Resolution

The issue has been identified as a content-length header value. To solve it, edit your proxy.cfg file located in sys:etc\proxy directory and add or change this switch:

[extra configuration]
PassContentLength=1
Then unload proxy and load proxy -cc, to reread the proxy.cfg switches.
