Situation

This TID links to the details on the procedure to backup and restore the ZPM / Lumension (PatchLink) SQL database

Resolution

Novell ZPM 5.x and up to ZPM 6.3, uses the SQL Server 2000 MSDE database. The backup steps can be found in Lumensions Knowledgebase Article 144 Backup and Restore the PatchLink SQL Database and Storage Directory
 
Novell ZPM 6.4 uses the SQL Server 2005 Express database. The backup steps can be found in Lumensions Knowledgebase Article 535 Backup and Restore the Update Server SQL 2005 Database and Storage Directory
