Additional Information

The scenario of the event is as follows
  1. Things are fine for hours or days.
  2. Randomly One computer is turned on and it hangs during the boot process. If thePCs are set to PXE first boot order, and hard drive second boot order.
  3. The PC has received and IP from DHCP, has communicated with the PDHCP server, and it says it is trying to communicate with the ZENworks Preboot policy server. It is at this point the PC hangs. It times out after roughly 5 minutes and continues to boot from hard drive. No imaging of the PC has been attempted, just booting which is looking for work. No work has been scheduled. All the workstations do have Image Safe Data
  4. Any other PC's turned on will experience the same hanging.
  5. Server utilization is high, NDSD is running. Manual attempts to unload libzimgserv.so via 'ndstrace -c "unload zimgserv"' do not work
  6. Shortly after the NDSD service stops
  7. Drive mappings are lost, users can't access files.
