Environment

Novell eDirectory 8.8 for Linux
Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) Support Pack 1

Situation

After updating to OES, users can't login due to concurrent connection limits.
Network addresses now have IP address and port number.

Resolution

OES populates the port number by design. Starting with 8.8 SP2 FTF2, this can be disabled.

Most concurrent connection issues have been resolved by updating the client to the most recent version.
