Novell eDirectory 8.8 for All PlatformsSituation
After installing an eDirectory 8.8.x server into the tree the objects in ConsoleOne may no longer appear in a sorted order. This is due to the index that is being chosen by the server when returning the objects to ConsoleOne. ConsoleOne does not specify which index should be used so the server chooses the fastest index. In previous versions of eDirectory this index always happened to be the index which returns objects in a sorted order. Changes to increase the efficiency of indexes in eDirectory 8.8.1 and later have caused this to change.
Resolution
This issue has been resolved with ConsoleOne 1.3.6h Patch2.
