Steps to duplicate:
1. Take any mobile device.
2. Go into Intellisync client -> To-Do part.
3. Create a new Task - in most phones it is possible to specify "Start" and "Due To" dates - specify Start Date in a future.
4. Sync the mobile device.
5. The Task on the device stays unchanged like it was created.
6. Checking the Task on the GroupWise Calendar site the Start date shows a current date and not one it was specified on a phone.
7. Login in the GMS mailbox via web PIM interface -> Tasks tab. Notice that after editing synchronized Task, there is no field "Start" only "Due To".
8. Create new Task from web PIM interface and note that there is no option to specify the Start date.

In that way GroupWise most likely fills in default / current
date for the Start field as this is missing from the GMS
synchronization.
