iSCSI chap authentication not working after NetWare 6.5 SP6 install.

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server (NetWare based)
Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 6
FalconStor IPStor Server v4.50 (build 954)

Situation

NetWare iSCSI initiator fails to connect to target device when using iSCSI chap authentication.
Upgraded to SP6 and NetWare iSCSI initiator fails to connect to FalconStor target device when using CHAP authentication.
Command to connect: ISCSINIT /CHAP CONNECT 'IPAddressOfTarget''TargetName'

Resolution

Fixed in updated iSCSI code Version 1.06 (Build 1004) December 14, 2006 or newer.
Workaround: You may remove the CHAP authentication or go back to some previous iSCSI code (v 1.05 Dec 15, 2005) found in NetWare 6.5 SP5.

Additional Information

Troubleshooting steps:
1. Obtain a LAN trace of the client (NetWare Initiator) tyring to connect to the iSCSI Target device.
2. After the failed attempt, run an "ISCSI REPORT" which will generate the SYS:\ISCSI.TXT file.
Both of these will be needed in troubleshooting connection issues.
