Controlling iPrint Settings through the Windows Registry
iPrint Client settings can be pushed down to Users, Groups, or Containers of Users using a feature called iCM (iPrint Client Management). To learn more about iCM, see the iPrint online documentation.
This workaround has not been tested by Novell. However, it should be possible to locate the specific registry value that controls the various iPrint Client settings. Once that value is found and the data in the value is understood (for example 1 might mean ON and 0 might mean OFF), then the administrator can push registry values to workstations through a login script or by other means. The location of these settings are not documented in this TID because they are different with the various versions of the iPrint Clients. Some places to look, however, might be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell-iPrint
