Situation

Symptoms:
Routing slip sends multiple emails to the next recipient.
Routing slip sends duplicate email to the next recipient.
Routing slip sends multiple emails to the next recipient if a rule to move email to a shared folder is enabled.
A rule is enabled that moves all email to a shared folder.

Resolution

Resolution:
This has been resolved in Novell GroupWise 8.

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
1. Create a shared folder in the GroupWise Client and share it with three users.
2. Create a rule in the account where the shared folder was created that moves all received email to the shared folder.
3. Send a Routing Slip email from one of the other users to the user where the rule is created .
4. Logged in as the main user, check the Routing Slip email as completed and then click "OK" when it prompts to transfer it to the next recipient.
5. Now login in to the second recipients account you will receive multiple, duplicate emails.
Note: This only happens if the abovementioned rule is enabled.
