Unable to synchronize contacts with GroupWise account(s) through GroupWise Mobile Server

Environment

Novell GroupWise 7 Support Pack 1
Novell GroupWise Mobile Server 2

Situation

Trying to get contacts to synchronize with GroupWise account(s) through GroupWise Mobile Server.  The sequence of events is this:
 
  • create a contact in an unsynced category on the device (CategoryABC)
  • create CategoryABC as a Personal Address Book in GroupWise
  • select CategoryABC as a synced Personal Address Book via WebPIM
  • create a second contact in CategoryABC on the device
The second contact gets synced but GMS never picks up the first contact
 

Resolution

Users are forced to touch each contact individually in order to get them to appear.  This has been reported as an enhancement request to development
