After updating with NSADMIN, userid and password not encrypted in the registry

Environment

Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 7 - ZDM7 Middle Tier
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition

Situation

After installing a ZENworks "hotpatch", if the userid/password used for the Mid Tier server are changed via NSADMIN, they are not then automatically encrypted as they should be.

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 with SP1 Desktop Management, available athttps://download.novell.com

Additional Information

Rights to HKLM/software/novell/xtier are lost when the hotpatch is installed, which is why they values cannot be updated.
