IDM & Troubleshooting "send email" action

Environment

Novell Identity Manager Identity Manager 3.0

Situation

Having an issue with the "send email" action in policy builder. The trace says the mail is sent although it's never received by the destination. What further troubleshooting can be done?

Resolution

Usually if there is a problem on the IDM side there will be an error generated. If you set -Dmail.debug=true in the DHOST_JVM_OPTIONS on server running the IDM engine, it will tell the JavaMail stuff to output debug messages about everything it is doing.
