Situation

Symptoms:
HotSync does not work after installing IntelliSync Mobile Client on Palm Treo
Hotsync feature stops working after installing GroupWise Mobile Client 2 Support Pack 2

Resolution

Due to Nokia's discontinuation of this product this issue will not be fixed.

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:

1. Use a Palm OS based Device and install the Palm Desktop software on a

Desktop System
2. Create few Contacts using the Palm Desktop Software
3. Create few Contacts on the Device
4. Connect the device to the PC using the Cradle and perform a sync
5. Verify that the contacts have synced
6. Install the IntelliSync Mobile Client on the Device
7. Login to the GMS using the Client and perform a sync
8. Verify that the sync is fine
9. Change the Connection Settings for the Mobile Client on the Device to "Ask
Each Time"
10. If a sync is performed, a prompt to select the method of connection is displayed
11. Add a new contact to the device and also add a new Contact on the Palm
Desktop Software
12. Sync the Device using HotSync
13. The Contact created on the device will sync with the PC but the PC contact
does not sync
