Environment

Novell Audit 1.0.3
Novell Audit 2.0.1
Novell Audit 2.0.2
Mysql 4.x & 5.0
Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91 Support Pack 2
Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5
Novell iManager 2.6

Situation

If Chinese, Japanese, or other double byte character named files or folders exist on a Netware 6.5 server, an Naudit query via iManager run against a mysql data store misreports the folder names and will not display them correctly.

Naudit is configured to audit - file open, delete ; trustees added, modified and removed.
The Novell Client is configured with UTF8 support and Chinese files and folders are viewable and accessible.

Under Naudit 1.0.3 the query report substitutes the double byte characters with either block letters or the filename is described as 'unknown'.
Naudit 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 displays the English named files but the double byte character files are absent as if they were never accessed.
