Files with umlauts are not copied correctly to the NSS volume via SSH

Situation

Error: cp: cannot stat '\334bernahme_test': No such file or directory
Copying files with umlauts in their name on a mounted NSS-volume is not possible when accessing the server via ssh-clients.

Resolution

The ssh-client needs to be UTF-8 capable and UTF-8 has to be enabled.

Additional Information

UTF-8 is the default encoding for the NSS File system since NetWare 6.5 Sp2 and for NSS volumes on Linux. This cannot be changed.
