Workstation Import
Situation
Workstations will not import when running services on
a OES Linux server. In the awsi.log on the Linux server the
follow error will display:
javax.naming.CommunicationException: anonymous bind failed: ldap1.intranet.bt.gob.ve:636 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found]
Resolution
The configuration in the
/etc/opt/novell/zenworks/zdm/novell-zdm-awsi.conf file was
incorrect. The LDAP server was not a member of the eDirectory Tree.
It is recommended that no changes should be made to this file,
unless needed. The defaults in the configuration should work for
most environments. After commenting out the custom configurations
and restarting the awsi service, workstations began importing.
