Situation
When trying to create an NDPS printer from NWAdmin the error"815 NWDP_error_type_security" is presented. In iManager the
errors presents itself as "security error 505". The printer
can be created inside the NDPS Manager and then converted from a
public access printer in NWAdmin.
This was the first attempt at creating an NDPS printer since
applying NW65SP5. When checking the NDPSM log files
(SYS:\NDPS\ndspm-id.PSM\NDPSMMON.LOG) the following error was
seen:
Error: (-672) was returned, Operation "Get Effective
Rights"
Resolution
The fix is to apply the post SP5 NDPS patch,
nw65sp5c_ndpsm.exe, or later.
