Ndsd doesn't start sometimes

Environment

Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
Novell eDirectory 8.8.2 for Linux
Novell eDirectory 8.7.3.9 for Linux

Situation

Sometimes, when you try to start eDirectory on SLES10 without support pack 1, ndsd doesn't start and you see the error below in ndsd.log:
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 610: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!
It happens either for eDirectory 8.7.3.9 or 8.8.2 on SLES10

Resolution

SLES10 Support Pack 1 will fix this issue.
