Situation

Error "could not fine the zenworks installation CD"
SATA Drives not being recognized.
Partitions not being recognized.
HP dc5750 (ATI chipset, Athlon64) SATA disk not recognized, ATI chipset not supported
Lenovo T61 (Thinkpad)

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 1, available at https://download.novell.com
Make sure that the BIOS from Hewlett Packard is up v2.25 or greater
Change the HDD mode in BIOS from Legacy SATA mode to Native SATA mode.

**For the Lenovo T61 - Change the SATA mode to ACHI. For the customer in question, the previous SATA mode was 'compatibility'.
