Environment
SLES10
Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6
Novell GroupWise 7 Support Pack 1
Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5
Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6
Novell GroupWise 7 Support Pack 1
Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5
Situation
Note1: For this problem, I am using latest NW version of GroupWise
7.0.1 (10-27-2006 build), both client and backend POA.
Note2: Also using latest Linux version of GroupWise 7.0.1 (10-31-2006 build) , both client and backend POA.
Global signature is missing for HTML or Text signatures for internal messages when:
a. You use a GroupWise Linux client against a Linux or Netware POA
However Global signature is visible in the message for HTML or Text signatures for internal messages when:
a. You use a GroupWise Windows client against a Linux or Netware POA
STD: With Note1 and Note2 in mind :
1. Have a functional SLES10 box with a GroupWise 7 Post Office and Domain (Linux or Netware) with a global signature enabled for the Post Office from ConsoleOne.
2. Using the GroupWise Linux client, send a message from User1 to User2 on this same Post Office. You will notice when you read the message in User2's mailbox, that the HTML or Text global signature is not there.
3. Using the GroupWise Windows client, send a message from User1 to User2 on this same Linux Post Office. You will notice when you read the message in User2's mailbox, that the HTML or Text global signature is present as it should be.
Note2: Also using latest Linux version of GroupWise 7.0.1 (10-31-2006 build) , both client and backend POA.

Resolution
This problem has been duplicated by GroupWise support with at least
the 10-31-2006 build of GroupWise 7.0.1. GroupWise
development has been notified. Only current workaround is to
use a Windows 32 bit GroupWise client when sending a message.
