Junk Mail Handling Block List Causes Account Unused Error

Environment

Novell GroupWise Internet Agent 6.5 (GWIA)

Situation

Sender receives an undeliverable message back from GWIA stating"userid (Unused)"
Unused

The following is in the POA log:
08:30:48 445 Message blocked by recipient.
08:30:48 445 Recipient has blocked all mail from sender's e-mail address.
08:30:48 445 Blocked Sender: userid@IDomain.com
08:30:48 445 Blocked by Recipient:

Resolution

This is working as designed. If the sender was placed in the block list inadvertently, removed the sender from the list.

If the sender should be on the block list, then do nothing.

Additional Information

User has added a sender to the block list in the GW client junk mail handling options.

When this sender attempts to send email to the user in question, an undeliverable message from the GWIA is returned as follows:

Also, the 'Undeliverables' increment for every Junk Mail blocked email.

An Enhancement request has been submitted to add the user name who is blocking the message to the POA log at the following location of the log:
08:30:48 445 Blocked by Recipient: add user name that is blocking here.
