System installation problems on SLES10 with eDir 8.8.1

Environment

Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6 f
Novell eDirectory 8.8.1 for Linux
Novell GroupWise 7 SP2 HP1a
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10

Situation

ConsoleOne crashes when creating new GroupWise system.
ConsoleOne crashes when creating new post office or domain.
POA or MTA objects are unable to mange via ConsoleOne afterwards.
Error: "The GroupWise information for this object does not exist. A possible cause is that replication is still in progress."

Resolution

Prior installing new system, please, make sure that you have in your Software Distribution Directory (SDD) under domain directory following files:
1. gwdom.dc
2. gwpo.dc
3. wpdomain.dc
4. wphost.dc
 
and under PO directory:
1. gwpo.dc
2. ngwguard.dc
3. wphost.dc
 
Those are dictionary files that are needed upon creation new GW domain or PO objects.
