Novell Client not passing login credentials via MSTSC to XP workstation

Environment

Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Windows XP Professional Support Pack 2
Microsoft Terminal Service Client (MSTSC)

Situation

Login credentials are not passed to the remote client when using Microsoft Terminal Services Client (MSTSC) to connect to an XP workstation.

Expected results: Novell Client on the remote desktop should be populated with the users login credentials.

Resolution

Workaround: Manually input credentials.

Additional Information

This can be fairly easily replicated with 2 x XP workstations and 1 x Windows Terminal Server, with the Novell Client on both of the XP Workstations and on the Terminal.

Case 1
MSTSC run from a Windows XP workstation with parameters setup as part of the MSTSC GUI, eg. username and password, but pointing to a Windows Terminal Server
with the Novell Client.

Result: The Novell Client on the Terminal Server is populated with the username and password.

Case 2
MSTSC run from a Windows XP workstation with parameters setup as part of the MSTSC GUI, eg. username and password, but pointing to a Windows XP workstation
with the Novell Client.

Result: No parameters passed to the Novell Client.
