Administration console times out after a certain period of in-activity

Situation

Administration console has a built-in idle timer that logs out after a certain period of in-activity.
The session idle timer is set to 30 minutes by default.

Resolution

In case you want to adjust this value you can do so in the following way:
On the administration console server open up the following file with an editor:
/etc/opt/novell/tomcat4/web.xml
Once opened search for a section called session-config between those tags you have the session-timeout
with a value defined in minutes.
After you have changed it restart tomcat and the new setting should be effective.
