Evolution ask for password during contacts search

Environment

Novell Evolution 2.0

Situation

If you trying to access GroupWise address books, Evolution asks for authentication. All authentication will fail.

Resolution

  1. Close the evolution client.
  2. Open a console as normal user and type "evolution --force-shutdown".
  3. Start evolution client again and try to access your GroupWise address books.

Additional Information

The issue might be related due an improper shutdown of evolution-data-server.
This error occurs randomly.
