ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management - ZAM7.5
Situation
Two options
have been added to the collector in ZAM 7.5 IR4: "forceioctlusb" and"forcebiosparallel".
When these options are enabled, USB and
parallel ports that have been disabled in the
BIOS
will not be reported by the
collector.
Resolution
To download the
Interim Release manually go to https://download.novell.com,
and search for ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management IR 4. The Interim
releases can also be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task
server to check the site on a scheduled basis. Updates will then be
downloaded and applied automatically. Please refer to the Help
Section for details of how to set up automatic downloads if
desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If IR4 is unavailable due to the next interim release being made available, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.
