Situation
- High utilization during synchronization, although there are no changes to synchronize in the change cache.
- There are no obituaries or high valued attributes in the database
- There are no obituaries or high valued attributes in the database
Resolution
Using iManager Index Manager, verify whether an index has been added on the "ACL" attribute. If it has been added, delete it. Novell eDirectory will automatically add the index on the "ACL" attribute for optimization of search performance if needed.
Note that this is one of the possible causes of a high utilization during synchronization and one that is easily verifiable and testable.
