Situation

When we accelerate a Web server on a non default HTTP port eg. 8080, then the referer header is incorrectly generated with an additional colon character

between the hostname and port ...

Referer:http://ncsles10.lab.novell.com::8080/servlets-examples/\r\n

Customer's back end app looks at referer header for info and will not work with

the existing Linux Access Gateway (Netware one works fine).

Resolution

Fixed in IR2 patch of the Linux Access Gateway or any build beyond 74.
